We are pleased to announce the completion of our Lifetime Careers DVD, produced in conjunction with Marlins.
The video is designed to provide information about the wide and varied career opportunities available at V.Ships. The target audiences include our existing employees and potential new joiners. Importantly, it is also intended for sea-staff that may have a longer term interest in a career ashore and, by highlighting these opportunities, might be encouraged to join V.Ships rather than a competitor.
The DVD can be used in a number of different ways. Apart from being accessible via the V.Group and V.Ships websites and V.Net, it can be used as part of a recruitment campaign, can be streamed into the waiting areas of our offices, played at seminars and training sessions, on promotional stands at trade-shows, career fairs, at college events and, in the right circumstances, can also form part of a presentation to clients.
The DVD is available in two different versions: one of five minutes duration and a slightly longer, 8-minute version. The key messages both convey are:
- We provide career opportunities both ashore and on board in a growing organization
- We value our people
- We will help our employees to reach their full potential.
